Something Deep Inside - Chapter 16
"ChangMin! Get off me! I need to get ready for work!" KiBum complained, wriggling to get free of his boyfriend's tight embrace.
"Nope"
"ChangMin please, I need to get to work!" KiBum whined again, taking a glimpse of the digital clock as every second passes by.
ChangMin shook his head rebelliously and burrowed both himself and the smaller KiBum within his arms deeper into his cozy bed.
"ChangMin! SungMin-hyung will have my ass if I'm late for the second time in the same week!" KiBum tried to persuade his taller and heavier boyfriend to let go off his waist.
"Your ass is mine and he knows that, he won't rape you unless you let him"
KiBum groaned inwardly. Great! ChangMin was still half asleep, smiling groggily and wrapped his arms securely and tighter than before. He was going to end up on the bad side of his best friend because believe it or not, SungMin could really turn pretty aggressive, send shivers down his spine.
"Are you cold, Bummie?"ChangMin buried his head in the crook of his older boyfriend's neck, nuzzling it as he mumbled sleepily. "Five more minutes, okay?"
"That's the third time you'd said that!" Grumbling, KiBum folded his arms and huffed.
"I won't let anyone have class in the morning"
"You know, it takes a very patient man to put up with this mumbled, illogical morning talk that makes no sense whatsoever" KiBum chuckled and leaned back against ChangMin's hard chest.
He waited patiently for a reply but when he felt the steady rise and fall of ChangMin's chest and the soft snoring, he knew it's time to give up trying. He leaned over the nightstand and grabbed his cellphone, dialing the familiar number when they heard two voices coming from the other side of the door.
ChangMin groaned in frustration as he reluctantly remove his arms and untangled himself out of bed and as he rolled over, not knowing that he was already at the edge of his bed - he hit the ground.
"Ugh...what a way to start a day!" He exclaimed sarcastically before hearing laughter coming from above him. "Oh continue laughing. I bet you like seeing this!"
"Are you okay?"
"Not when those two are still howling" ChangMin gets up with the help of KiBum and walked towards the door, yanked it open to see his hyungs arguing about something incoherent. "What the hell's going on here?"
"YooChun came up with the most stupidest idea for an assignment title"
"It's brilliant!" YooChun argued.
"It's some sort of a time machine!" YunHo cuts in.
"It's called the 'Dream Catcher'" YooChun said, ignoring YunHo.
ChangMin rolled his eyes, leaning sideways against the door frame, a hand holding the door preventing his brothers to see KiBum busy dressing up.
"What does it do?" ChangMin asked.
"It can make two souls meet when they're asleep" YooChun drawled excitedly. "It's a great invention"
"That's not an invention, it's called dreaming!" YunHo said, knocking YooChun's forehead lightly. "Wake up!"
"I thought you study how to make cars or something?" ChangMin asked.
"Yeah, and how many in the world would let me design one. A senior came up with this idea and I loved it!"
"That's why I didn't take engineering courses, they make you go gaga over something like this!!!" YunHo shouted.
"I think it's a great idea!" KiBum opened the door, revealing himself, fully clothed.
"What?" YunHo asked.
"It would be great for comatose patients" KiBum voiced out his opinion, much to YunHo's dismay.
"That's why you enrolled yourself into a nursing course. Failed your -"
"One more word. I'll shove my feet down your throat!" ChangMin warned with a very deadly glare.
"Sorry" YunHo apologized.
"Maybe it's not too bad of an idea but hyung, good luck in trying to make your professor approved of your title" ChangMin dismissed the stupid discussion, pulling KiBum into his room and closed the door.

Bang. Bang. Bang.
HeeChul startled as he craned his neck to see what is going on but he saw nothing. The same old plain view of the cafe with the same old design. He sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. He and ShiWon were the only ones in the cafe. He was in a bad mood, and ShiWon wasn't helping by sitting sipping coffee looking all happy.
"What are you smiling about?" HeeChul snapped, glaring at him.
ShiWon shrugged and grinned. "Oh nothing. It's just fun to watch the smoke curl out of your ears when you're mad"
"Don’t make me strangle you"
ShiWon has been bugging him for several days and it didn't help that he hadn't got much sleep lately - those flashes were pestering him every night, it's very, very annoying trying to figure out what it actually mean; and it appears almost as equivalent to ShiWon's presence, resulting him being snappish to almost everyone who drops by at the cafe.
"HeeChul, will you do me a favour?" Came a voice from the back-room, Mrs Agnes walked out with a paper in hand.
"Sure"
"Could you run down to the store to get me some of these? I have to wait for the suppliers to stock up"
HeeChul ran his tired eyes down the shopping list. "I'll get YunHo then"
"What for?"
"Mrs Agnes, if you don't know yet, I don't have a car" HeeChul said, wanted to roll his eyes but they aren't co-operating with his mind.
"I do" ShiWon cuts in.
"Well, do you mind taking him there? I really need these. My son's been bugging me all week and you know how busy I am" Mrs Agnes asked ShiWon politely.
"I'll help"
"Then, you go" HeeChul shoved the list to ShiWon's dimpled face.
"HeeChul, don't be ridiculous. He's suppose to bring you there and don't mind me saying this but go somewhere nice right after, you obviously need something stronger than the crappy break-room coffee"
"Hey, I was the one who made that coffee!" HeeChul gave her an indignant look.
"My point exactly" She smacked his head for giving her that look. "You're so tired, you can't even measure out the coffee grounds correctly"
HeeChul opened his mouth to argue, but then thought better of it. He groaned as he removed his apron and walked towards the door. He was too tired to notice Mrs Agnes winking at ShiWon as the other mouthed a sheepish 'Thank you'.

ShiWon looked at the shopping list Mrs Agnes compiled, leaning against the cart and slowly dragging his feet down the aisles of the supermarket, stopping when he came to a pasta sauce, as HeeChul was already contemplating two of the different flavours with a furrowed brow.
"Did she specify?" HeeChul asked, not looking up from the pasta sauce.
"Nope, it's just pasta sauce" ShiWon simply said, chuckling at HeeChul's cuteness as the latter was biting his lips, trying to make a desicion, as if it held some real importance. He reluctantly glanced back at the list when HeeChul about to look his way then looking up to once again take in HeeChul's expression.
"I'm assuming she just means the tomato ones" ShiWon said, trying to sound like he was confused too.
HeeChul seemed to make a snap decision and choose the jar in his left hand, like what ShiWon had suggested; placing the other back on the shelf, twirling on the spot to face ShiWon who coughed his way out of reverie when he was caught staring.
"Okay, what's...aaaaammmmm left?" HeeChul appeared abashed as he just yawned while asking question.
ShiWon tried to hold his laughter as he trailed down the list. "Lettuce, Fruits, Bread, Diapers, Ch -"
"Diapers!!?" HeeChul exclaimed. "She dragged us here to help her buy diapers?"
"It's for her grandson. He's only two and half months old" ShiWon said, looking apologetically as he pushed the cart to the other section.
"Oh..." HeeChul slowly dragging himself out of the embarrassing situation, following ShiWon before coming to a full stop. "And how did you know that?"
"Can you get the jar of salad dressing?" ShiWon asked on purpose, ignoring the questions directed at him earlier.
"What kind?"
"Any kind. I don't really care"
"You're shopping for yourself?" HeeChul asked annoyingly.
"We're already in a supermarket. Might as well we get what we need too" ShiWon said, as he headed towards the fruit bins, ignoring HeeChul who was confused with the sudden change.
As HeeChul headed to ShiWon with the dressing, he couldn't help but to stop and stare at the bouquets of brightly colourful coloured flowers that sat next to the far corner of the store; and briskly walked over to that direction.
Shiwon, who saw this, tried to call but was cut short when he witnessed HeeChul's radiant face as he bent over to smell the bouquet, his shiny bleached hair hanging over his face, the smile right after was mesmerizing.
HeeChul closed his eyes, trying to relax his mind when a soft knock from behind breaks it off. He turned to see the person who had
bumped onto him nods apologetically from over his shoulder and ran off.
Shiwon just shrugged it off as another ill-mannered people who simply won't apologize for knocking into others. He couldn't help but to wonder what went through HeeChul's mind as he noticed the sharp blanched look coming from the pretty boy.

"Where's YooChun?"
"Talking to his prof over his title" JunSu said, reading the message from his phone. "Where are those two?"
"Same" JaeJoong and KiBum answered in unison.
"Why are we so free?" KiBum sighed, placing ChangMin's brown slung bag on his lap, hugging it like a teddy bear.
"You sure as hell like him, huh?" JaeJoong smirked.
"Why? Don't you like YunHo?"
"I don't like his bag"
"You're all over him" JunSu teased.
"You're the same. Fancy going shopping together but comes back with no bags" JaeJoong smirked evilly.
"Nice one" KiBum joined the laugh.
"Hyung!"
"JunSu-ah, your face's red"
"Beet red" KiBum agreed. "How would YooChun often react?"
JaeJoong cleared his throat, testing his voice, trying to sound like YooChun. "You're so cute, my little dolphinnie"
"Hyuuung!" JunSu pouted. "Why are you always teasing me?"
"Because you're YooChun's dolphinnie" JaeJoong teased some more, sending his brother a darker shades of red.
"Oh...HeeChul is here!" KiBum nodded to the said person, walking towards the cafe. "Isn't that ShiWon?"
"They're dating already? Since when?" JaeJoong clapped his hands in delight. He stands up and made his way towards the sweaty and panting lad who by the way, still coughing and tired from the run.
"HeeChul, what the -" ShiWon said but trailed off when he saw HeeChul's hand directing to something out the other door, and he was insisting to push JaeJoong out of the premise but failed. He was staring directly at a group of three and absolute fear could be seen in his eyes.
JaeJoong noticed that too, so he followed HeeChul's gaze and nothing could have prepared him for what he saw, a male student with a gun that was aimed directly at them, or maybe at someone in front of them.
"EVERYONE!!! DOWN!!!"
