Beautiful You - Chapter 2

The wedding vows just ended. Since HwanHee isn't a type of person who loves to go out much, both decided to have a wedding at HwanHee's huge garden. It's alright, considering the medium-sized of people here. Only family, close relatives and friends were invited.

The wedding dress they saw the other day, marked as HwanHee's first fail attempt to design a 'one-of-a-kind'. He finally told MiYoung about the dress that very day itself when Brian clutched his fist for the umpteenth time. The Park brothers had to pull Brian away to calm him down. HwanHee thought the worst out of his then fiancee but she told him, it was okay. She didn't marry him just so he could design a beautiful dress, she marry him FOR HIM! She's willing to marry him wearing the simplest attire there is, as long as they got married. HwanHee was touched but Brian wasn't. He slaved himself for several night just so that he could finished the 'state-of-the-art' suit, just to hear something like this. The workroom was more messy than ever when JaeJoong threw his tantrum too.

But now, it's all good. The newly-weds exchanged their vows a few minutes ago with a priest standing under a huge gazebo, and they were wearing the already finished suit and gown JaeJoong and Brian work their own ass for the sake of MiYoung. Her words, although it was like an arrow that pierced through their heart but it proves HwanHee got the right girl. So, they fixed the almost ruined dress and opt for a simple design, it turns out good.

ChangMin is, as usual, working his eyes and hands with the filming of the wedding. He volunteered too, anyway. He walks around asking guest to say something to the married couple. Every single one has to say something, he insisted. Then, his camera caught the side of YooChun, standing before a framed photo of the wedding couple with a written poem underneath, hanging on the wall.

I believe that GOD above created you for me to love…
He picked you out from all the rest…
Because He knows I LOVE YOU the best

"Beautiful, right?" Brian, the best man stood next to him, finally got his well-deserved 14 hours of sleep last night.

"It's cheesy, hyung!" ChangMin made a puking face.

"We're at a wedding, hello!!? It supposed to sound cheesy" Brian hits hard on ChangMin's head which the tallest replied with an "Ouch, hyung!"

"Who wrote it?" YooChun asked, fully aware HwanHee is not as creative as he looks in his choice of words.

"Don't know" Brian shook his head. "Hey, Hwan wants you to perform"

"And he ONLY tells me now?" YooChun was shocked. He didn't prepare anything at all.

"Chun, you're a composer. You can't run away from performing at your friend's wedding" JaeJoong stated the obvious.

"It would be better if I'm more prepared" YooChun sighed, cracking his head on what to play.

"Oh, come on. I'm sure you can come out with something. The piano is out" Brian ushered the reluctant YooChun out of the house to the backyard where the beautiful piano was.

"Make sure it's special. Couple's first dance" Brian whispered when YooChun seated.

"Any more surprises?" YooChun was as nervous as hell.

"Nothing, for now" JaeJoong runs away quickly before YooChun could hit him, taking out a camera to record YooChun's performance in five months. JunJin suggested to them three days ago, to have his brother perform at the wedding, before YooChun and ChangMin arrived that day. He thought it's long enough.

YooChun takes a deep breathe. Hands by his side, he hasn't been touching piano for that long. Eyes staring at the piano keys, starts to get blurry when he thought of the last time he played. It was at his grandmother's funeral, she had personally requested in her will.

He was frustrated and about to tear again, then he looks up to see his friends disappointed expression. His eyes back on the keys, hiding the disappointment he felt for himself. He lost his sense of direction.

JunJin cast him a worried look, should have known not to force his brother. Brian was about to walk and take over when he heard the first few keys being played. He stood still, watching as his friend played the song, "I Finally Found Someone" but it was a little out of tune and then he stopped suddenly. His friends knew of his fragile self. His sensitive nature makes him what he is today, the feelings of others could be easily translate into music sheets.

Again, Brian took another step and again, the music played. This time, they could feel something different than the one before. This time, he played, "My Everything".

HwanHee was seen dancing with his bride. Brian was on the dance floor with the bridesmaid. ChangMin, JaeJoong and JunJin were amazed with YooChun's performance.

YooChun didn't know what came over him. His mind started to think of the song he haven't heard since 2000 but he kept on playing anyway. His eyes darts straight at the tall bushes decorating along the fence, separating the walking pathway and HwanHee's garden.

ChangMin was the first one to have noticed YooChun's gaze, then the others follow but neither could understand what he was looking at as he smiled. They followed his gaze to see tall bushes with small red flowers. The youngest felt something chilled up his spine because there's only one person he could think of who could make him smile.

"Hyung, you think grannie is here?" The only thing the youngest could whisper. Anyone can see the trembling hand of his while holding the camera.

"Don't know. Don't wanna know" JunJin remained calm, shaking his head to push that thought out of the way.

Behind the tall bushes, listening to the piano version of all time favourite, is JunSu. He came for the wedding, stood stoned when he heard the music played. He eyed his dog, sitting with her tongue dangling out of her mouth, saliva dripping down to the cement path. He IS late because his German Shepherd refuses to go out without grooming first, what a true sassy dog he has. He didn't want to go in, fear of interrupting the first dance. He didn't want to draw eyes either but somehow he felt self-conscious as if someone is watching him.

He waited for almost 20 minutes before walking his way to the garden, carrying a wrapped bottle of wine as a gift. He got in as quietly as he could and placed his gift on the long reception table. He took a seat farthest away from all the guest. He wasn't very comfortable with the suit he's wearing. A three-piece suit with a bow tie, he feels awkward and he hasn't been feeling this way for a very long time. He thought of leaving after another good 20 minutes but when his hands reaching out for his dog, Colleen, who normally will stay by his side, found out she wasn't there.

He stood up, looking around the garden. He sure hopes she wouldn't cause any trouble, because no matter how well-trained the dog was, she does have tendency to grab a bite from people and that's the last thing he needs. He bends and pulls up the table cloth, eyes make a quick glance under the buffet table. His hands tempting to use the dog whistle he brings wherever he goes, wherever the dog follows him but didn't want to draw attention, he resisted.

He took another quick glance under another table. When he saw nothing, he stood up abruptly and heard something behind him. He turned to see the pianist he saw earlier standing in front of him, with a dirty stained on his black suit. Their eyes went down to the ground, the plate YooChun was holding earlier hits JunSu's back and stained his suit. JunSu panicked, anxiously looking for something to wipe it off.

"Get away from me!!!" ChangMin shouted on top of his lungs from the chair he stood on. Colleen standing on two, begging for food from him, whose hands holding a plate each.

JunSu rushed to his huge dog from causing anymore trouble. He patted Colleen's back thrice and although the dog was reluctant, she got on all four.

"Kim JunSu" A voice startled him. He turns to see the groom walking up to him. "I'm glad you can make it. And thank you for creating such great memories for my wedding"

JunSu looks at him, confused.

"We get to film ChangMin's scared and desperate look. I thank you" HwanHee hugs his friend. JunSu was his neighbour who rescued him from a fire that engulfed his house one night, a year ago. HwanHee was so grateful that he kept in touch with JunSu ever since he moved here.

"Hyung! That's mean!" ChangMin came down to the ground, still eyeing the dog, who is eyeing his plate of food. ChangMin pushing the plates away from her view. She stares at him, he stares back.

"Colleen, over there!" HwanHee pointed to where YooChun is, grabbing the drumstick on air. Colleen rushed to YooChun to take the treat. JunSu then, remembers, runs back to YooChun. He stood before him, bowing non-stop.

"It's okay, really" YooChun stops him from feeling sorry. They all heard about JunSu from HwanHee, about him being mute. He has a dog with him because of his disability, few might take advantage of him, robbery for instance. With a dog, it's slightly safer.

JunSu shot him a pair of sad eyes and a troubled face which YooChun finds himself frowning too.

"HYUNG!!!!" ChangMin screamed again. He saw one of his plates stolen by JaeJoong, on the ground, with the dog munching on it happily.
