Beautiful You (Chapter 13)
"Holy Smokes, she's here" Brian nudges to JaeJoong from where they were, the mini-bar.
Kim SoYeon, YooChun's ex-girlfriend and a friend of theirs stood at the reception, looking around for the sign of someone. Anyone could've guess, it must be YooChun. They don't really hate her except for the fact that after growing up with her, everyone kind of know what kind of person is she. She loves attention and the only thing she dated YooChun back then was because he was making a name for himself but when that didn't work out, she dumped him, like dirt. Everyone knew this except for YooChun himself. His friends didn't want to hurt him so they just let it be.
YooChun turned as he felt a tap on the shoulder and who he saw made him stop dead, a face he thought will not appear here. He didn't remember to have invited her. "SoYeon?"
“Chunnie” She said in that sugary sweet voice he always remembered as she hugged him to her. Brian and JaeJoong shivered involuntarily.
“What are you doing here?” YooChun is surprised.
“I'm taking a break and already here since last week” SoYeon said in a flirtatious manner.
“Really, wow you look great”
“So do you” She smiled.
JunSu walks over when he saw the brunette who was standing way too close to YooChun for his comfort.
"SoYeon. My fiance, Kim JunSu" YooChun stood in between them "JunSu, this is my childhood friend, SoYeon"
"Oh don’t be so modest Chunnie, be honest with the man. We were lovers once but things didn’t quite work out, but here I am” SoYeon waited for a moment for JunSu to reply.
"JunSu can't talk" YooChun told her.
In the far background, Brian and JaeJoong playing 'rock-paper-scissors'.
"You're mute?" SoYeon said with a hint of amusement. YooChun winced inwardly.
"SoYeon-sshi" Brian made an appearance after losing the game. Damn, he loathed the flirtatious tone she used to call his name.
"Ah...B-ri-oan"
SoYeon watched YooChun walked away and she knew he would be hers again, because he was the only reason she moved here in the first place.
"She's a little blunt. I mean -" YooChun tries to apologize.
JunSu shuts him up with a kiss which YooChun gives in easily. SoYeon who is standing at their background watched the two with disgust.

"Hey, my favourite!" YooChun tears away from JunSu's behind as he heard the next song. "Wanna dance?"
JunSu looks at him nervously, shaking his head.
"Nobody's watching you but me" YooChun smiled, letting out a hand to JunSu.
'What a big liar!' JunSu thought but took YooChun's hand anyway.
They dance. Their movements are ambitious, nimble, better than anyone else on the floor. They move so well together. Eyes look intensely at each other. They are building up a sweat; confidently dancing at fever pitch.
Every of the guest reacting with shock and surprise. Awed. Except for SoYeon. She stands there with her arms folded, felt herself boiling with envious. She maintains her cool but inside her pride is pricking. Then, she suddenly thought of an idea. She straightened herself then starts walking, shoving, pushing, and barging her way up to YooChun. Without preamble or regard for JunSu, she starts dancing with him. YooChun looks at JunSu but he's somehow dancing with SoYeon.
JunSu retreats with daggers in his eyes. Pissed.
"Aigoo...aigoo....aigoo. She acts as if it's her own engagement party" JunJin reacted, didn't notice the glare beside him.
Brian nudges JaeJoong who nudged JunJin hard on his chest, motioned him to shut the hell up as JunSu can hear him.
JunSu standing where he can see but can't be seen from the dance floor. He watched his fiancee dancing so closely to his ex. Sulked and pouting, he excused himself to the patio.
As a slow dance begins. SoYeon starts to press herself against YooChun, who didn't know quite well what to do so he decided to dance along.
"Ah" Brian holds his head, rubbing his temples. "I'm always so confused by YooChun sometimes. Is he brave and earnest or just an innocent little d*ck-head?"
"The last two" JaeJoong gulped down his cocktail.
JunJin felt guilty, about to go after JunSu when SaRang cuts in as she fills a glass of fruit punch and races to the patio. The boys could see her tapping on JunSu's shoulder, offered him a drink which he took and cheering him up with jokes as they witnessed JunSu laughes.
"I like her" Brian nudges to JaeJoong.
"A LOT" JaeJoong nods.
"Now, I hate you for disliking her" Brian taps on JunJin's chest twice.

A few minutes later, she walks in, filled another glass of fruit punch and handed it to Brian. She whispered to tell him what to do and the latter gladly admitted to be a fan of hers as he nodded, struggled to balance the drink in the crowd and stops a few feet away from YooChun. He takes a deep breath before 'accidentally' poured the iced content on SoYeon. She squirms, screaming but cools down when Brian showed his apologetic 'drama-queen' look. Brian offered to bring her to the bathroom, all the way apologizing.
SaRang then dragged JunSu to the dance floor as the background music changes to a pop-beat. She urged JunSu to dance with her. The crowd were laughing at the sight of the two making some random moves and 'oh-so-silly' Mong came in with his own rendition of an 'orang-utan'. HaHa was laughing at his best friend.
As they were dancing, YooChun and JunJin noticed the dance move their partners were showing. It's almost identical. When SaRang took a step back, so does JunSu. When she turned, JunSu will lead her and sometimes catched her before she falls. They also noticed JunSu's mouth was moving when he tapped SaRang as if he's giving a direction on what to do next although he did used his hands. SaRang seemed to understand what JunSu's trying to tell her sometimes without using his hands.
When the song ended, the crowd clapped and chant JunSu's name. The boy blushed and looked at the opposite direction but SaRang cupped his face and made him look at the crowd, especially when YooChun was cheering for him.
Neither JunJin nor YooChun know how to react as they saw SaRang pinched JunSu's cheek which made the boy pouted cutely at the girl, who landed a pecked and hugged him. JunSu hugged her back - happily.
SaRang left JunSu there to let YooChun have him but JunSu decided to ignore him instead. He walked out to the patio without looking at him.
YooChun followed. He takes JunSu's hand who fiercely jerks it away. YooChun grabs his hand again, more emphatically this time. But JunSu won't budge from the spot where he's standing. So YooChun slides his arms around, holds him without moving. They remain like this for a moment or two until they slowly begin to dance.
YooChun's lips brush JunSu's ear. "JunSu...?"
JunSu turns slightly over his shoulder.
"I'm sorry"
They continued to slow dancing under the moon.
SoYeon came out from the bathroom, eyes on JunSu and YooChun. Both underwhelmed and resentful of what she sees.

"Why did you kissed JunSu?" JunJin asked as he walked her to the front door.
"Why not?" SaRang walked out after saying goodbye to everyone. She's one of the guests to leave that late.
"You're making my brother jealous!"
"That's the point! He's making him jealous!"
"Why are you so on JunSu's side anyways?" JunJin finally pointed out, he was jealous. "Do you like him?"
"Of course I like him" She rolled her eyes as she walked much further from him. She can't wait to get into the car.
"He's engaged to my brother!" JunJin said loudly, pointing to the direction he last saw JunSu then to himself.
"He's engaged TO MY brother!" SaRang pointed to the direction where she last saw YooChun then to herself.
"Don't repeat what I just said!" JunJin was clearly annoyed.
"You're obviously drunk!" SaRang rolled her eyes again. How can no one understand that simple statement?
"Want me to drive you?"
"I don't want to die!" She said, didn't mean to mock him but when he frowned, she quickly adds, "I drove here"
"Be careful!" JunJin said then walked back into the house as he saw SaRang opened her car door. She got in and started the engine.
She took out her cell phone from her handbag and dialled the familliar number.
She waited for it to ring then when it went through and after hearing the two knockings from the other line, she smiled.
"Su, please remind me next time not to kiss you in public? And...call me when there's problem, okay?"
She waited for a few moments for him to reply.
"O...ok - kay"
