I haven't finished it yet (I've had it for over a year, it took me a while to get myself to get past the whopping 100 pages of introductions/notes etc >_>) but so far, yea pretty much :| I kinda felt for Heathcliff at first but now I'm at the point where he claimed Linton and is trying to get him to marry Cathy? And, I just, kind of, hate him now ^^;

My copy didn't have an introduction, so it was like *BOOM! STORY* from about page 4 or so.
I felt for Heathcliff, but I immediately thought "Why would he want to be with Cathy if she's the kind of person who lets CLASS get in the way? She's a dick!"
I love and empathize with Heathcliff, (except for the whole "marrying Isabella" bit) and really hate/feel bad for Edgar Linton. Poor, weak, stupid, doting Edgar Linton.
In my head I imagined Heathcliff to look like a cross between Johnny Depp and Alan Rickman. Edgar looked kinda like Butters from South Park, and Cathy looked like my cousin Laura. :\
