What awesome locations to visit on your cruise! I still haven't been to Italy and I want to go so bad. I keep talking about it.

Gum? Gross. Why don't people throw it away properly. Was your dad able to rescue your shirt?

You will go one of these days, Mags. I remember your post about Milan and hopefully soon you'll go.

My dad was able to remove most of the gum, but there are a few tiny white spots where the gum refuses to come out. It's a dark gray shirt and the spots are really noticeable.

I'm glad you had such a nice weekend in Tahoe, despite the weather. It's so good to get away like that once in awhile. Sounds like your father had an excellent celebratory weekend.

I'm looking forward to the trip and I will definitely be posting pics. I might even post some from the ship if I have time.

Thank you! He enjoyed himself and that made me very happy. I was worried when the rain dictated our plans, but he was fine with the alternate activities. Main thing is that we were all together to celebrate as a family.

They should send you ALSO to Monaco (the country)! The Hotel Monaco looks like a great place though.

Sucks about your shirt and the other nasties. :( That squicks me so much with the gum and whatever was stuck in your hair. Perhaps it's not something you want to look too closely at.

What a lovely trip! It's great that you had a wonderful weekend with your family. BTW do you have anymore root beer pops? Those sound delish.

Do you have a list of all the cities you'll be visiting? That cruise looks so exciting!

Gum is one of my pet peeves. I hate it so much when I step on someone's chewed piece. If you need to chew it, throw it away in a garbage can or wrap it up.
