Though I had most of the week off, it felt like my life was stuck in fast-forward mode because I was so busy (doing mostly fun things, but busy nevertheless). I've managed to keep up with my NaBloPoMo commitments, but not RL updates. I'll start there ( Read more... )

oh, thank you a lot for sharing your thanksgiving celebrations with me here. I wish I was at your parents' bbq.. the food must have been delicious and I am eager to try anything that is american-style.. :)

You would definitely be invited!
I will be posting pictures soon. The tree looks a bit naked without a lot of presents under it and I haven't started wrapping gifts yet.
Tree trimming is always fun and I know you will enjoy that day!

What a busy, but fun week! And OMG, Im totally craving vanilla ice cream with raspberries now. Your food posts always make me hungry. I wish we could go the non-traditional route with TG dinner, but my grandparents would probably have fits.

Did you find anything good on Black Friday. I ashamed to say this, but everything I bought was for me. I still have to look for presents for my family.

*hugs* We missed you in chat. Lots to talk about with November sweeps. I'd love to hear about your thoughts on Sonny/Brenda and Carly busting out the Dante secret.

I hope you were able to eat some ice cream with berries, Mags. :)

Nothing wrong with buying stuff for yourself if you want and need the items. I bought my dad an iPod and I got a digital camera and camera accessories for my mom. I got books for myself.

If you see me online, do IM. I'd love to chat with you about the latest GH. BTW, Franco was tapped to co-host the Oscars with Anne Hathaway. I hope he'll be back on GH to wrap up the Franco artist/murderer arc.

I saw HP and I went ice skating too! I'm sorry you hurt your hand and it's good that it wasn't that serious an injury.

The fact that the mothers were screaming and hurling popcorn would tip the scale in crying woman's favor. That (popcorn) is never acceptable even if you're really pissed off.

Happy TG, Reeves! I ate too much food that I didn't want to leave my aunt's house. She's an amazing cook. Great feasting celebration for you too. :)

Thank you! ♥

*nods* I was less inclined to believe the mothers after their screaming, popcorn hurling fit. They called the crying woman a liar.

Nomnomnomnomnom! It seemed like a whole week of feasting! *hugs you*

How fun! If you're feeling up to it, I'd love to go skating in Union Square sometime in December.

:::JAW DROPS::: You had a barbecue and I missed it! :::CRIES::: I love your dad's short ribs and steak, and I'll bet the salmon and chicken were equally great. We had Honey Baked Ham and the traditional Thanksgiving meal. I enjoyed spending the holiday in New York, but it's good to be home now.

Definitely, I would love to do that. :)

*hugs* I missed you. You would definitely be invited if you didn't have to be in NY. Welcome back!

*Glomps* I'm glad you were able to come to my house. My family was happy to see you and we had survived shopping the Black Friday sales.
