Random Musings• Yesterday I was driving by a parking lot when out of nowhere this teenage boy comes flying down the long handrailing of the steps. I was so shocked because it happened so close to me and I was afraid he was going to fly out into my path. Gravity had a different idea though and he wiped out and the base of the steps. He landed with a ( Read more... )

Take lots of pics when you go to Orlando! I'm so jealous.

In 2003, the lovely smilie117 offered me an LJ creation code and I registered my account.

:D hehe.

:D Hee, I can't believe how much LJ has changed over the last few years. No more need for creation codes.

I miss California for its lovely, temperate climate *glances at cold murky day in the 60s in June in Scotland*

I used to be so into HP fandom. Read so much fanfic. Now I'm too impatient to ever re-read books!

*sends warmer, sunny weather your way*

I've slowed down my fanfic reading considerably since when I first entered the fandom. Now I focus on one-shots, or on authors who update on a regular basis.

Holy crap. I would be freaking out if I saw the blood. I don't have the stomach for it.

OMG, Reevsie, have fun in Orlando and try to update if you can.

I remember this meme! Me, interview me! :D

I don't know if I'll be bringing my laptop with me, but I will definitely try to post if I do.

Yes, I've done this meme a few times and it's always fun. Here are your questions:

1. What were you like in high school?
2. What would be your dream job?
3. If you didn't have to consider expense or practicality, where would you go on your next vacation and what would you do there?
4. What are your passions and how did you form an interest in them?
5. What is your favorite piece of jewelry and what is the story behind it?

These questions are great! Thanks, hon, I'll be posting my interview just as soon as I answer the questions.

The religious aspect also has great meaning to me; despite the social whirlwind, the holiday is in celebration of the birth of Jesus.

What a lovely thing to say, Reeves. The true meaning of Christma often gets lost in the retail lunacy of the season.

Thank you. I do get lost the chaos sometimes, but I always try to focus on what Christmas means to me.
