What a lovely, poignant, and important story. I don't usually read chaptered fic, but couldn't put this down.

Oh Martin... This story had me on the brink of tears for the most of it, because dear lord, does it hit home. I'm not asexual, but I did used to feel 'wrong' for a long time and Martin's panic at certain situations were really familiar and I was aching for Douglas and Carolyn to stop and think for a moment and then there was Arthur and oh, my heart just went all fluttery.
Beautiful story, and wonderfully in character. Well done!

Oh wow. This was a very good story! So gentle in the way you described Martin, yet kind of graphic in what was done to him. It was really beautiful!

And the part with Douglas both apologising and being awkward and overly nice the next day. Just wow!!
