It was really awesome. I don't think it's still playing on Broadway (and Dan Radcliffe has moved on) but there are likely to be other productions. I've heard the movie was disappointing in comparison, though.

I totally know how you feel. The theatre department at my college performed it my freshman year and I probably went four times. People noticed and commented and gave me weird looks, but, as a person who was just diagnosed with a mental illness and who had lived with mental problems for years, the themes just .. spoke to me. It's hard to explain.

Anyway, sorry to get all personal. I really enjoyed your entry.

Thanks! And yes, there is a lot there, though my initial reaction to it was similar to Boys Don't Cry - "This was brilliant but I don't want to see it again for a long time if ever."
