Chapeau for going through with it. I hate dentist appointments with a passion. I know how hard it is to follow up. May "next" take a while yet to materialize.
Next-worst thing is a tooth that probably needs a root canal. Seems easy after this. And a bunch of minor fillings. At least as far as dental work goes.
The un-fun on the medical side is going to be having bloodwork done. Since I have most of the symptoms of PCOS except the ones that are the most clearly diagnostic, I might have to investigate whether some of the alternate possibilities are what is happening, which may require a specialist referral (which is always scary for me, because my primary doctor, my midwife, and my podiatrist are all OK with the idea of Health at Every Size but I always dread getting a doctor who isn't).
A good lab tech knows how to use two finger to stabilize a vein. Actually people with small veins have always been my bane. I always go through the vein.
Truth to tell most doctors haven't placed an IV except central lines into the heart since medical school. I'm surprised he ever got it. Didn't he have a phelbotomist or IV therapist?
