Even I can't quite believe it. Ruby, we ELIMINATED THE UEFA CUP WINNERS!! *Faints* I did not envisage this when I started supporting Poli. And Panti was SO GOOD! He made mistakes in the first leg, and I was sort of sticking up for him, "Well, you can't expect him to be perfect"... but this time he WAS! OMG!!! *Faints again*

...I am quite happy. 8)))

XD Not so amazing for Shakhtar; I feel about guilty about poor MLuc and his dodgy ticker. The Poli boys were SO EXCITED, though. <3 I bet they've never made a pile that big in their lives. (And Panti had to bend down really far to hug everyone else, which was hilarious.) Imagine if they qualify... Blimey, I don't think I'll ever be ready.

Do you think Shakhtar were totally taken aback, or did they take the game seriously? It's got to be a huge blow - can they be eligible for UEFA qualifying, now?

Oh god, they definitely took it seriously! Though I didn't really believe them; they kept saying in the run-up to the return leg that Poli were a big danger, and I thought they were just being nice. XD (The first match finished 2-2 and the second 0-0, btw, so we won on away goals.) They're heading for the Europa, last I heard.
