Well, tonight I had a rather quiet evening planned at home - and was looking forward to it - but as I got in the elevator on my way to the grocery store in my building to grab some supplies for dinner, I ran into my colleague Beth. I will forever remember congyou bing as the first thing I ever ate in China, right after waking up from a deep slumber after my 13453349 hour flight from NY and venturing out into xichengqu for the first time. Oh, how I miss it now.
