I know. Maybe someday they'll restrict pencils because it says it contains lead, not graphite. Or even pens and toothbrushes, because now you can sharpen them into stabbing items. Or even an eraser for fear that you may choke on it.
In Malaysia, the storekeepers don't bat an eyelid when I buy them, because he knows it's for school and office use only, not as alternative weapons. For glue, it's mostly the clear ones in small tubes.
I know that. I'm just confused on why they still call it lead pencils, when you know, there's no LEAD in it anymore?
It's really sad. Even more so when you're under age. I may be just a year closer to my 'adult' age, but I'm mature and reasonable enough to know that such items are not for alternative uses.
