Some random thought....
I've decided Boston might be the most
moe city ever.

I think Chiyo would be a Red Sox fan, btw. Wasn't she a fan of the Giants in the anime? With both Gabe Kapler and Hideki Okajima having Giants ties, I'd assume she'd have started following the Sox. :) (Yes, I know Kapler plays for Milwaukee. I can't imagine Chiyo following the Brewers, unless she also has an inexplicable thing for large redheaded middle relievers.)

Yeah, she's a Giants fan. The Giants are typically called the Yankees of Japan, with the Tigers being the Sox. But there definitely are more connections to the Sox than the Yankees. Also, the Tigers used to have current Yankee pitcher Kei Igawa, so that is definetly a strike against the Yanks. So she'd probably be a Sox fan in the end. (Maybe she has an inexplicable thing for vegan first basemen?)

It's way too amusing to try and moefy sports. I always imagine Boston being a tsundere type in general, due to the rowdy, passionate fans who really care for their players. They always seem like this type who always gets on their players cases really hard if they're not doing well (the "tsun" part), but then a story like Jon Lester's no-hitter (okay, just typing that makes me giddy) comes along and you see how much Boston loves their athletes (the "dere").
Okay, please stop me now before I go to far...xD
