I hated the finale episodes of Doctor Who. Well, it started really well with Utopia but it just got worse and worse, imho. On the one hand, I can kind of buy into hyperactive Master because we have a sort of hyperactive Doctor and he is kind of the anti-doctor. But... eh.... Well. I'll wait till you've seen 13 to go on.

I thought the Master's hyperactivity was one of the most interesting thing about him, since he was evil, but he seems like a really positive, silly guy. Maybe episode thirteen will change my opinion-we'll see!

I'm a bit biased because I'm used to the old master who was a little more ... subduedly sinister? I think I'm making up words. But on the other hand, it works out because the master I'm used to was with the 4th, 5th, and 7th doctors, who were all more mellow than 10. So this master matches 10 more than the old one would in a way. But I also think he was a little too over the top.

And really, ultimately, it's not the master's performance that really turned me off. It was the total plot, particularly the ending, which was a little Deus Ex Machina, i thought, but I won't say anymore lest I begin to spoil. It did get Martha some more respect from me though, which is good. I didn't like disliking her.

Ah...makes sense! I keep meaning to watch Classic Who, but I've been so busy lately. I haven't even seen Nine, actually (I started the new series with Ten).

Ugh, I hate endings that are just kinda out of the blue like that! It's totally ruined some series for me!

...master scares me.
I missed all of the last season though and just randomly watched it on friday.
I hate whatever-her-name-is-black-girl. I miss Rose.
[okay, that sounded racist. Not my intention, I really don't know her name.]

Yeah, the Master is a little scary! I like Martha (the black girl) and Rose, actually. I like Martha a little more than Rose, but I prefer Ten/Rose over Ten/Martha.

I really need to catch up with Heroes. Really. I mean it. I want to, but I don't have that kind of time...I need some time off.

David Tennant forgives you for temporarily doubting him, I'm sure. Actually, I don't think you doubted him, but the plots he was shoved into, so perhaps the plots should be the ones giving you forgiveness...

I hope I didn't just confuse anyone. I think that makes sense except for the obvious fact that plots are obviously inanimate and intangible.

When you come up we can watch it! I have the first season on DVD, and I'm TiVo-ing this season so we can watching it together and squee over Matt/Mohinder and the sexy beat-up Peter. And I now you'll love Kensei, who is a British swordfighter in Japan! ^^

I was never doubting DT-he's still a very good actor, and still very sexy whenever he makes those weird faces that he does a lot. And I still love all of the characters. The plots were just boring, and they should give me forgiveness! xD Trust me, after hanging around you all of the time, nothing you say ca nconfuse me (unless you say it in a language other than English)

Yay! Ooh, that's weird...coming up. I'm so used to living in the North that 'coming up' sounds a bit funny to me. (I'm pretty close to the Mason-Dixon line, actually.)

...the way you described Kensei makes him incredibly desirable to me. Seriously.

I love people who can pull weird facial expressions (see Dudley Moore and Dustin Pedroia for proof).

We really need to talk to those plots. You know, give 'em a good pistol-whipping and put 'em in their place. Yeah. Or not, considering that neither of us owns a pistol to whip them with. We can Nerf-whip them!

And I make sense? Yay! That makes me feel better, especially since I'm on very little sleep today and I haven't been particularly coherent or understandable the entire day...
