Welcome to the Inception fandom Kink Fest!
This fandom puts out some seriously amazing fic on a regular basis, but I am of the opinion that there should always always ALWAYS be more kinky porn. You guys, our fandom has guns and bondage and daddy issues and dream forgery. I say it's time to bring on the kink, yes?

On my second read through I had to reconcile it with my non dark Arthur, so I read it as a preplanned scenario between A & E, but Eames was unprepared for how Zola would actually feel.

In my head, even if it's not negotiated, Arthur thinks that Eames will just turn back into himself if he doesn't want it. So he is, to a certain extent, acting in good faith. Maybe not the total sweetness-and-light Arthur, but not actively sinister.

Anyway. I appreciated the strange blend you made here. If you ever actually wrote what this does to E/A's relationship I would read it in a heartbeat -- Eames tearing the cannula out, running away, looking at himself in the mirror to make sure he's not her -- it's so disturbing, enthralling.
Um. Anyway. Thank you for writing this. +cowers+

I -- just, yes. I thought this exactly but wasn't sure how much analyzing should go on in a kink meme. /o\ I can see the guilt coming in hard -- perhaps not in the traditional ways in this case ("I shouldn't have been walking in that area" "why did I wear that?" "why was I alone") but more "why didn't I forge back?" "why didn't I just say no?" It's a fascinating set-up. If Eames really does sink so deeply into characters, one would think any character-sex would benefit/suffer in turn.
That's one thing I was also going to wax poetic about re: this story. Lines like: He suppresses it; out of character. There's so much THERE in six words, it actually boggles my mind.
So, err. I could talk about this forever, but tl'dr: I completely agree. talking +1.
