I've never heard a business suggest that they'd like to "make my face evil" before. Well, okay, once, but I never went back to that dentist.
Strangely, seeing them selling cassettes is less nostalgic for me than seeing the phrase "AOL Keyword". Simpler times, in a way, when you could find ISP discs in any roadside gutter or under any coffee mug in the nation. *sigh*
Is it wrong or right that I kept thinking obscene things when the McNuggets were talking about making their special sauces?
You know, I honestly see that as honesty in advertising, particularly because it's coming from McDonald's. It's like they're just showcasing what you can look forward to looking like after eating there for any length of time.
Oh the days of getting those little CDs in your cereal boxes. Back in the day when they still did that, convinced that CD ROM was going to be the wave of the future.
And shame on you, Steve. Shame on you for finding anything naughty in a commercial about boxy containers filled with special sauces to dip your nugget in. (And dip again and again and again.) It's all under the watchful eyes of a giant clown so how bad could it be? (Now that's a mental image to start your week with!)
