Stay Safe!

Everyone located near the big bend of Florida stay safe our tropical storm has just been upgraded to a category 1 hurricane and may get even higher! We are getting hit right now with onslaughts of non-stop rain. Pasco, Pinellas and Hillsborough has essentially been flooded. You're in the path today, I'm in the path tomorrow :P I've gone to the store so I'm all prepped! I know schools are already canceled - not too sure if I'll have to open the store tomorrow but at least it's only two miles from my home!

I've been through my share of hurricanes (Louisiana here), and I know how rough they can be. I hope everyone stays safe!

I've been thinking about you guys. I hope you didn't get hit too badly! I have a cousin in Daytona Beach and she said they hardly got anything from it. On the other hand, my mom has an old friend in Georgia who said they got 4 inches of rain and lost power for a few hours.

We're under a tropical storm warning right now here in southern NY (nothing's happened yet, in fact the sun is still out, but it should all start some time tomorrow). Doesn't sound like it will be anywhere near as bad as Sandy was, but the main concern is the storm surge right along the water. There are a lot of people living in those areas, so hopefully they're taking some precautions.
