Hey everyone,

Through some serious trial and error, I made my new layout for my journal here. I really wanted to learn how to do it since my muses were pushing me back into web design (which I haven't done in a few years).

( I just got home from seeing 300! *eye candy yum* )

Sankyuu! ^_^ Yeah, I got tired of it looking so plain but I really wanted to do something different.

Yes, I enjoyed "300". I didn't even look at my watch even one time during the movie which I usually do. LOL I hope you enjoy. We can discuss it later. I wanna know what you think about it after you see it.

Wow~! Love the layout. Though the heading could use some trimming round the edges...

Thankie. Yeah, I'm a bit perturbed about stuff like the extra black boxes but once I get a little more into it I hope to be able to fix it.

If you could customize your account, what would you want it to look like? I'm really trying to get to the point where I am making templates that most people can use with their own images.

Hmm, it's not that important to me, but I'd like it to be a classy mix of black and dark purple and maybe a splash of blood red. XD A Goku theme would look heavenly too. XD

Ooo, my favorite set of colors!! Okay, I will try my best to cram all this layout stuff in my head this week. At week's end, I'll test myself. In the meantime, let me know which pics (if any in particular) you would like to use for Goku. Would you like to use some of your own art? Let me know. No rush though. I've got a lot on my plate (like always). ^_^

Hai, my muses are moving around all over the place. They won't really work with me yet they are pretty demanding. It's ok though, I need the challenge. =^.^=

Really nice! I like what you did with the links on the side (placing the pictures on them). I'm not that good with HTML and CSS so I tend to stick with the S2 format. I don't know if you alread know this community or not but everything_lj has some great stuff on making layouts, the people are helpful and they tend to be able to solve any html probs.

And Naruto 3d models? *secretly wishes for Kabuto*

It was in part to you, my dear, that I checked out everything_lj as well as animeljlayouts and premade_ljs. I love your layout but I was curious on how much could a person do with the S1 option. sakura_dance has some REALLY nice anime layouts as well but there definitely isn't enough Saiyuki layouts.

Sweeeeeet....I love the little graphic added in the bottom corner with Hakkai toting the gun. It makes me laugh. Don't know why....it just does. :D

lol, I saw you post and wondered what was going on with your Minekura site. :D

Thankies! LOL I love how Hakkai is smiling with the gun in tote as well. As if he isn't dangerous enough without it!! ^_^ I think that pic being right there is actually my favorite part of the layout.

The Minekura site is still in the works, just much slower than I expected. I saw a Naruto site that I liked and I'm checking it out to see what info would be good to include in the Minekura one from there. I'm also working on trying to create a backend for any moderators. Hmm, me thinks I'll need some PHP Help (trying the tutorials are causing braindrain).

Wish I could help on the PHP.... I can edit in phpbb modifications, but actual scripting....heh.... Yeah. Braindrain indeed. :D

LOL It's cool. I will still definitely need you for the forum.

I recall you mentioning phpbb will soon be releasing version 3? Do you know the date and what changes they will have? I'm just hoping that it won't be a significant issue of updating it (yet keeping the same look and data) when the time comes.
