Hello lovely livejournal people! If any of you are still out there...

How is life around LJ these days? I'm having one of the loveliest summers of my life due to my beloved wutendeskind living with me while she works here in DC. We've been having a lot of fun, but not so much that I didn't manage to squeeze out a spn_j2_bigbang this year for the first time in *mumblemumble

but I'm sure you were going to read those anyway, so how about shadow_cat's Untitled Superheroes - that is a pretty fun superhero romp, I enjoyed it a lot.
Non BB recs - one I'm in the middle of at the moment and is really very good, an SPN western AU - El Dorado by nigeltide. Well worth a read!
And now I've done this I'm thinking I should do a rec post proper. So thanks for that LOL

Ohhhh! I have of course read KC's because I broke my own rules last week to read it on my commute. XD And I was planning to read Clef's, of course. I will give the other a shot! I'm pretty anti-superhero, but I'll give that one a whirl, too, just to see if it suites me. Thanks so much for the recs (and yessss! the world always needs more rec posts! DO IT.)
