I should know better. Really I should. I've just decided to finally call it quits and head to bed. But first... "I'm just going to check my Friends Page real quick." But the really funny part is I decided to call it quits after just having finished But We'll Always Have Our Vending Machines, which I loved BTW - Chock full of schmoopy goodness and hilarious banter and one-liners. (Oh, and because I always try to let people know where/how I found their work, that one was a rec from lexzilla.)

Anyway, much as I'm tempted to dig into the above recs right now, I'm going to force myself to wait for tomorrow.

In the meantime, I am strangely compelled to offer you a rec, even though I have the same fears about giving recs, and even though it's only tangentially related to the theme. I found Nosce Te Ipsum to be absolutely mind-blowing, and the reason I thought of it is because it has some greco-roman-esque-ish aspects to the culture of the AU.

And interestingly, I literally just finished reading that one. Someone told me to look into it last night when I told her I was going to do this rec list. Very interesting fic, but I decided it didn't quite apply to the theme enough to make it on the list. :D

Okay, I got sidetracked with other projects for a day and a half, but I've now started to look at the recs. OMG I absolutely loved Body & Soul. Thank you so much for the rec (and I can't wait to read the others).

And of course you've already read Nosce Te Ipsum. The cosmic symmetry was just too much to be passed up.

Nooo. With a verse as big as that, and written out of order, it was bound to be a little confusing to navigate!

Though I won't lie and say I'm not excited the numbering is going to make it easier for me to reread. >:)
