anywho...this was a fantastic read. i loved the magical elements you blended into the story and how their love for each was the ultimate solution to their seperation. i also loved how jongin risked it so he could save jongdae and the dog even though he knew the consequences would be dire. really liked the characterisation- ballet teacher jongin is <3 and a million yess to songwriter jongdae bc shes dreaming broke me
thanks for this amazing fic bless you

I'm so happy to know you liked the fic, that means a lot to me ;u; I think Jongin is the type who would risk everything if it meant keeping Jongdae out of harm's way, even if it means endangering himself because he just loves him that much. I couldn't not write about ballet teacher!Jongin because the fic was begging for it, and She's Dreaming inspired Jongdae the songwriter in this because man, those lyrics, that pain u__u
Thank you for reading and taking a time to leave a comment, I appreciate it a whole lot! ^^

I can say with every part of my soul that I did not see that coming! Like, you could have told literally anything else and I would have been less surprised!
I thoroughly enjoyed this fic! The story line, the characters, and the little bits of everything else! Jongin was so lovable in so few words! Jongdae was perfect, so real in his anger and emotions. And again, that twist! I love, love, loved that angst, too! Especially the angst! It made everything all the more sweeter. And as usual, in some way or form, Joonmyun had to save the day!
The in between memories were definitely one of my favourite aspects of the fic.
But that twist though... I couldn't... I just... How did that-- how--
Awesome fic, awesome characters, wonderfully written!! I enjoyed reading this ^^
Also, that little tidbit about fake dating. I see what you did there OUO
That ending though! That twist though!

Like I told you, I wanted a reason so out there you would never, ever think of it in a thousand years. And I guess it worked? Because I managed to shock you, ahaha ^^; But yeah, a ship breaking up in fic almost always consists of the same reasons I've seen done time and again--terminal illness, falling out of love, finding someone else, choosing career over love--so I took the challenge and... this is the result LOL.
Cries I'm glad the angst passed your expectations, I am truly rusty on the genre so this was a challenge to write if only the parts where Chenkai are angsting LOL u___u I was tempted many times to just make them kiss, but where is the fun in that when I can make them suffer first? OuO
I... was a bit lost on that fake dating bit until you pointed it out and LOL!! Honestly, that was coincidental! I didn't even make the connection until you mentioned it @_@
Thank you so much for reading! ^o^

Love surely works in mysterious ways, doesn't it? It would be more logical for Jongin to just stay away knowing how he and Jongdae ended that night, but the heart wants what it wants, and I don't think Jongin wanted to stay in bad terms even if there was no chance of them getting back together [which he would probably remedy later on, knowing how unrelenting he could be LOL].
Thank you for reading, it's much appreciated! =3

I like how Jongin and Jongdae started out of childhood and they are still close until they are in a relationship. And I also like how also described their friendship together with Junmyeon. I could totally imagine them hanging out as kids!
The transition throughout the whole story is just spot-on and their social circle is just so fun to read. I mean, all of them are successful in their own fields and yet they manage to gather together despite being well-known in Korea.
Such a fun story to read! <3

Sukaichen being childhood friends kinda fell into place when I was writing, I imagine them being a rambunctious trio who played all day and sometimes got into trouble =3 I also like imagining them being a tight circle of friends finding time for each other no matter how busy they get.
Thank you for reading! I'm glad you enjoyed! ^o^
