so lovely, but so painful

oh man, this one hurt a lot. i love all the details about their relationship. wake up calls from your significant other to assuage some of the bitterness of ldr's, getting a cat (one with a permanent >:( nonetheless) to ease some of the loneliness, jongdae following kyungsoo fansites to see airport pictures of his love, teasing exploration of kinks, inevitable fights with them both still trying to be mature about the circumstances surrounding their relationships and the job that keeps them apart

it was all very real and very beautiful and there was this undercurrent of sad acceptance because this is the love they picked and it's gonna be hard for them but worth it

“It’s not a home,” Kyungsoo says quietly. “You know that. Home will always be you.”

Jongdae figures he must have missed Kyungsoo too much because he would have hit Kyungsoo if he had said that before, but it’s nice to hear now. “And Sehun. Home is me and Sehun.”
