I managed to avoid Ultimate Online and Everquest. But I couldn't fight the siren call of MMORPGs for long.

Guild Wars is entertaining enough. Plus, it's free online play after you buy the software. Which you cannot say for most MMORPGs.

RO is like, a reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally weak MMORPG as far as those go.

But again, free if you know the right people, and party play is fun times.
