Happy Halloween!
Though it's actually November 1st where I am right now... and my plans to go to Ocean Park (the amusement park) to join ghosts, ghouls and demons in terrifying the young and easily-frightened... well, fell through... none the less, I console myself in the fact that I had a fun Halloween weekend.
After finding (last minute) that the party I was to attend on Saturday was a costume party... I fell back on an old idea I'd used before in the past -- The Crow. What else could an Asian realistically pull off... with minimal preparation? I did have to go and buy my black clothing (would you believe that I actually have nothing that's -completely- black in my apartment?)... and the face paint... but other than that, voila! Instant Brandon Lee-age.
I've... well, bulked up from the last time I tried this costume, and the picture shows it, I believe. Don't have that lean and hungry look anymore... though it could simply be the fact that smiling is an expression that looks foreign on my face. Hair's a bit too long and not ... frizzy?... enough, but what the heck. I made quite a few people jump... especially a woman who screamed when she saw me in a mirror. Can't say I blame her... if I was washing my hands, minding my own business and saw a pasty white face behind me when I looked into the mirror, I'd probably be startled too. Heh. But it didn't happen to me.
May have a few more pictures tomorrow... I certainly hope so, but that's what happens when you don't have your own camera.
