OH MY GOD.

i just found out that the whole not getting accepted into dreyfoos was a complete MISTAKE.

that is soo freaking stupid.

my mom called dreyfoos again and asked them and they checked my score and it turns out that i had an almost perfect audition score. they made a huge mistake and they sent the letter today saying i got in. haha...wut a relief. i knew it was a mistake. ppl far fare worse than me got in so i dont see how i couldnt get in.

my mom talked to the IB coordinator at suncoast and he wont let me in simply because i didnt put suncoast as first choise, otherwise id be garunteed to get in. -sigh- i want to switch to suncoast in sophmore yr but than i would have to take extra or higher classes at dreyfoos in order to match suncoast's cirriculum. than i would be able to get in for sophmore yr.

AHHH! THAT'S SO STUPID! I mean that they put you through all that suffering! the same thing happened to me for bak when I was in 5th grade. I tried out for commie and keyboard and I did horrible at the commie so they sent me a rejection letter... but only one letter. so I figured I didn't get int oanything! and I was so depressed and I cried and I didn't understand because I practiced forever and then my dad called and we found out that they had sent the other letter but it got sent back and they hadn't resent it yet. it was so stupid. so i'm really happy for you but I still want you to go to suncoast!

oh btw if you still want to go to suncoast I definately advise you to take algebra II over the summer

damn dreyfoos people. so that probably means that I didn't get into dreyfoos because i think i screwed up, just on a scale though. anyways, congrats and see, it was a mistake! and to what minna said, try MSE. you can always switch out sophmore year.

yeah i got the acception letter just today.

it just so happens that my mom knows the MSE corrdinator too (Dr. Murray) he is my brother's physics teacher and my brother is like one of his top students. haha thank god for connections. tim says that i might be able to talk him into letting me be MSE this year.

well, u all met the IB coordinator. he was the serious looking guy that came to talk to our geometry class. he is the IB coordinator of the whole state of FL too! hes like really strict and he wont let me get into IB at ALL for freshaman yr...under no conditions. i bet u guys didnt know that he and his wife started the charter Inlet Grove. his wife is one of the principals at suncoast(dr. patentay...not sure how to spell her name) according to my brother she is uber short so its not 2 hard to spot her =P

anyways just some information for u future suncoasters. (go chargers! =P) hopefuly, ill meet u guys this yr or the next.

well good luck. I really hope you go to suncoast, we can all be the chens again, all 4 of us instead of just 3! hopefully Dr. Murray is nice and lets you in. =P I mean you have what it takes
