you have to realize that a lot of people in this world aren't as bright as all of us; as arrogant as that may sound.
the funny thing is that, going on with my elitist rant, they believe they know better than we do. which is fine. whatever. but the reason they're not as bright as us is not because of brain processing power: it's the ability to change perceptions and understand the world around us.
i read some comments, and of course some are going to assume it wasn't an accident. i mean...who plays around with a gun, someone who has grown up all his life with guns, just to "accidentally" shoot yourself?
they're idiots. accidents happen. police are known to shoot themselves in the foot, and the first thing they're trained to do is to properly handle a handgun.
and the parent's fault? i read comments like that too. calling both nick and the parents idiots.
that's expected though. nick's the idiot for playing with the gun and getting shot. the parents are idiots for having the gun out.
they just don't understand, sonia. because
( ... )
It's not really about understanding the situation Yeah I know, it probably wasn't the brightest idea to be playing with a gun But just to mock and ridicule someone, who is now dead, about a bad decision, is just wrong The fact of the matter is that Ace is dead, and people are making fun of the situation I don't care if they knew him or not, it's just something you don't do
Akin to that, what you said about people making fun of the situation.
In music theory, we've basically turned that class into a free period a month ago. So we talk a lot. Gevon and I have so much fun. Anyway, recent discussions have been about Ace. Most of the sophomores and juniors in that class didn't know him, so we explain. And we don't make fun, but we make light of the situation, and talk about how cool Ace was, and various aspects of his personality. We show a great amount of respect, but we won't mourn openly all the time.
What you said about other people is right. They're just plain wrong. But stuff that Gevon and I do, it's endearing. We cared about him, and that's how we show it.
No, I get that, you guys actually knew him and were friends with him It's just the stupidity of random strangers, who don't know anything, saying dumb stuff makes me mad
