Not keen on these kind of show or is it just me, feels like it's not fair as it's not likely to be fans getting the tickets but people after a free night out?
I'm a huge fan of this kind of show, this one in particular, since it's my only chance to see them before they tour London again, and that could be AGES away.
I guess I see your concern that ticket scalpers might win tickets and try to sell them for money outside, though.
I'm kinda hoping some do incase I don't win any, so I have a chance to go ;p
I'd prefer they did charge something for tickets, just to stop people entering for the hell of it, so it's people who really do want to see the bands and they could donate the money to charity or something.
Think it's probably cos I've still not over missing out on seeing them at Big Weekend and then another event that's based on luck comes along....
That sounds awesome! I think it's a fantastic idea. Not only does it give you the opportunity to see them for free (especially with the inflated ticket prices lately), but it also gives the band the opportunity to acquire new fans, win over people who would otherwise never listen to them.
