Camera Situation

May 01, 2011 18:55

Hey guys,
Sorry if this was asked already. I looked back and didn't see it. Those of you who have gone to shows on the U.S. tour so far, what has the situation with cameras been like? It doesn't say on the tickets they aren't allowed and as far as I know the tower theater doesn't have a policy on them. Any help is appreciated :)

help!

Chicago Show allowed Cameras as long as they aren't professional with removable lens. I'm surprised they let us do anything with the crappy security and staff they had. -cough-

Camera policy is determined by the artist. Most know that it's unrealistic to ban cameras completely but some try to.
standard camera policy is non professional. Point and shoot is generally fine.
If it has a lens thats detachable or one that's bigger than 3 inches it's considered professional.

The last two MCR shows I went to (on TBP tour, though,) they banned all cameras, even cell phone cameras. One lady next to me actually had her cellphone jerked out of her hand by a security guard. I had taken a camera to both of these shows, because I'd heard nothing about them being banned, but when I got there, they said any cameras would be confiscated, so make sure before you bother taking yours.
