"Pluged In " Scans..

Aug 10, 2007 13:14

I ran across this Christian teen-zeen type thing, while my friend was cleaning her room, a few days ago. After a brief period of thinking "WTF!? Why are mcr on the cover of this?"
I decided I should post scans of the article here to view other people's opinions on this...
I hope this is allowed..

Keep that kind of stuff away from me.

[This is no attack to you, of course. I just want to express my distaste towards religion-oriented mags. I think everyone's is entitled to have their opinion on that matter, therefore I hate the attitude they generally have 'I know the truth and you don't'. Thank you for trying to convert me, but I don't want to be saved]

In some ways it is, yeah. It's just that they're always able to ruin it all by shoving in sentences like the last one - which provided me of a good laugh, admittedly. Not that I didn't need it :)

Well since this is a Christian magazine so I understand that they want to pull Jesus into this but I knew about Jesus long before I ever heard of My Chem and to be honest I find very little hope in Jesus other than a bunch of stories, for all we know, a bunch of old dudes made up. My Chem provides a shit load of hope and it's current, it's real, it's alive and has a direct effect on alot of people. So for this guy to say they provide no hope for teens just shows you how baised and narrow minded some religious people can be and how they clearly don't understand teenagers and young adults.

Being as I don't believe in Jesus, he doesn't offer me any hope. On the other hand, I do have faith in MCR.

It annoys me when anyone makes it sound like a belief is a fact rather than an opinion or view.
