So, I'd been having an absolutely shitty day and I'm coming down with a cold (and I feel like absolute shit), but at some point I went to the post and picked your present up, and I instantly began to feel better. And as if the present wasn't enough to MAKE MY LIFE, then I came back home and saw this, and if it weren't for the "getting sick" part, I'd say that I haven't felt that good in a long while. But THE POINT IS, I DO FEEL GREAT, thanks to you. :') A cold, what cold? ♥

ANYWAY.

So, I just finished my first listen, and this one is definitely the best of your Christmas mixes and NO, OF COURSE IT'S NOT THE BIAS TALKING, OKAY, IT'S JUST THE TRUTH. *Kanye shrug* And it's usually not so hard to pick my currently-favourite-song(s) from your mixes, but man, in this case I'M NOT ABLE TO, AT THE MOMENT. I LOVE THEM ALL and I'm gonna spend a lot of unspecified amount of near-future time RELISTENING TO THEM ALL. And -- maybe I'm wrong here, but it feels like this -- this mix does feel kind of ME, like you'd spent a long time thinking what I'd like, and I'M LOVING IT. :')

In conclusion, YOU'RE GREAT, AND YOU ARE THE MUSIC GURU. Amen.

I have been trying to figure out how to appropriately respond to this for HOURS, okay. God, Kasia. Way to make me get all flaily and emotional (which, somehow, leads me to wanting to be all ~inspirational~, so certain things I may or may not have done in the past hour are TOTALLY YOUR FAULT, YES).

THIS IS TOTALLY WHAT I WAS AIMING FOR. Especially when I had a minor fit and nearly scrapped it AGAIN last night (Jen very patiently listened to me whine) and then had iTunes eat the original very truly terrible tracklist. So, um, yes. SOMEHOW IT CAME OUT AS SOMETHING I COULD ONLY THINK AND HOPE YOU'D LIKE, TRUFAX.

Just dl'ed this and the other mixes you posted over Christmas break (with the exception of slipped into the sleepy dusk because it was taken down boo-uurns) and I can't wait to listen through them all!!

Hi hi hi! I got slapped with a TOS violation on that mix, and they took it down within 24 hours of it going up. If you're interested in it, I'll reup it to a different host site. (I'm pissed it got bounced because it's my favorite of the non-fanmix batch. Idk if that's enticement or not.)
