I've been thinking a lot about my life and what I've been through. And it makes me sad that I had to go through all that to realize how wonderful I am. I feel sorry for the next woman to be with my ex. That checklist I posted includes everything he did to me but left out him threatening me with a knife and hitting me in the face. The police report I filed isn't on that checklist. But that's ok because I survived. I think I'm finally realizing what a gift it was that I managed to live through all that.
