Wait.. you want to go back to Britain... for the food? I think you may be the first person ever to say this.

What's wrong with pub food?

I don't know about pub food specifically as it's been a long time since I was last in England, and the Mad Cow scare would have kept me away from said meal anyway, but English food is notoriously bad and nothing I tried there changed my mind about that. I mean, why did they build such a huge empire if it wasn't the search for better food?

Obviously you only ate the British food. England has some of hte best Indian food outside of India. As well as good Nepalese, Thai, Vietnamese, and other food. Not to mention to delicious scottish food.

Haggis is delicious if made right. With lots of butter and fresh organ meat.

With a side of good strongbow hard cider.

Paella is a bready thing. Delicious.

Barramundi is "Giant Perch" it's a big fish.

Squid and octopus are delicious. The "bugs" are not actually bugs, they're a wierd type of mostly clawless lobster from... Australia? Just like "mud bugs" are crawfish.

You sure on that Dan?

From my time in Spain, Paella was a rice dish usually made with chicken stock and vegetables in it. Sort of a rice casserole if you will.

Quick google search turns up wonders:

I wonder if you're confusing it with pollenta

Thank you Steuss, it was morning. My brain had a meltdown on Paella... which is sad, since I love the stuff and Mom made it pretty often.
