I want to smack my coworker with the Calculus Book of Persuasion. Is it really too much to ask that she do the job for which the college pays her so handsomely? A bit of background: we both work in the library. She works circulation desk, and is thus responsible for the basic range of checking stuff in and out, dealing with interlibrary loan items ( Read more... )

I really don't understand people like that. If you are paid to do something you should be doing it. Not talking to people whom you should be conversing with on your own time. I've gotten in trouble with jobs where I was the only person doing what I was supposed to, I just was not social enough by my supervisor's or my boss's standards. It is an unfair world we live in...
