i'd mentioned this in my nino vs ken'ichi post and figured it was high time to give ohno his own comparison post. apparently i'm going through arashi (and toma) before i get to other johnnys. (though i'm branching out to a johnny vs. a kpop idol next and i'm sort of excited) ( Read more... )

ah, me too! it's not as common of a mindset like, say, jun/hiro, but i still think they look at lot alike.

ISN'T IT? it's a shame that the movie has a weird cult status in america instead of the more mainstream status it deserves :(

it took me more than one read-through to realize you meant the second battle royale. i thought you meant the second comparison was terrible. haha. i agree, though. i only own the second one because i happened to see it for super-cheap at a used cd store. it was nowhere near the original.

half of the photos in the tatsuya butai photobooks are full of him crying. it's like he can't get through a performance without letting a few tears fall XD he really creeped me out in the death note movies, though. i know that's sort of the point, but still.

O_O omgggg they look...like siblings. its kinda scary actually lolol especially when they are both sleeping. i could have easily mistaken that picture of Tatsuya as Ohno. great comparison post! and so many wonderful pictures of Ohno 8D *happy fangirl* ♥

don't they, though? the sleeping one and the ones where they're smiling are my favorites, i think.

i'm not much of an ohno fangirl, so i'm glad that even a fan can see the similarities :) aiba's my favorite, but there's no one who really looks like him, so he probably won't ever get his own comparison post :(

if you've seen him in anything, it's most likely the death note live action movies or battle royale. he's done a lot of stage work, most notably romeo and juliet with suzuki anne. i haven't seen any of his dramas, but apparently he's done quite a few!

lol Not really. :( I've only seen him in Death Note and Battle Royale and I wasn't really impressed with him.

Looks-wise, though. I see what you did there. Only Tatsuya is less bird-like. XD

ah, i see. acting and personality-wise, there's not as much similarities between the two, so have some comfort in that, at least :D

it's really all about the appearance! no one else looks remotely like ohno and i didn't want to leave him out. also, NO ONE is as birdlike as ohno. it's impossible!
