German lines translations provided by
karneol_vision Previously Bernd Schneider finally made the decision. Secretly he packs his bags and move to Chile in a commercial flight.
No cameras, no nothing.
The hours for Bruno Labbadia as a trainer were going to be over. The rumours are spreading around, but at the time,
he feels some sort of relief. Soon the hours of hiding and fear would be over. René followed Bernd in secret thorugh his car. He knows he's going to Chile for visiting Arturo and watch his game against Uruguay.
While in Chile, Arturo recieved an e-mail from René Adler.
The words were in German and it went something like this:
"Arturo:
Please believe me. It wasn't my intention to rip your career off, or discriminate you against your origin,
nationality or lack of German knowledge.I know you're improving in language and I can notice that in you. I hope that you can read this letter already.
Maybe I was wrong. I was really pissed off about Bruno Labbadia's politics about gay people inside Bayer Leverkusen.
Your voice tune sounded like you were dope or something... but it's not your fault or anything. It's your voice tune
and I respect that... forgive me for the prank calls I made to you. I was going to make fun of your voice
but then this thing was rising till collapse.Maybe Bruno wanted to hear you scream 'no' or asking for help, just for causing the following effect for our teammates: making fun of you.
But you didn't caused that effect. You caused even more than just the opposite effect. You caused a revoultion
inside the team, making it some sort of 'Gang' (I've never liked that system, but when the trainer isn't there, the
Captain is the boss) and then sacking Bruno...for a while. I'm not an homophobe. He is the homophobe. But he is with a double standard. He likes to cause harm. I'm going to tell you that I'm not guilty of anything negative happened to you. He is the real guilty. I wasn't more than his puppet. I told it to Basti in the match against Greece. In that day when Bernie showed the Chilean flag to the crowd. I saw you talking to the journalists in German alone, with him, without an interpreter. When I get retired from the changing-room celebration, it wasn't because I was pissed off with you or Bernd.
No.It was because it doesn't fit in my mind a relationship like this. I couldn't realize inside my mind, how a human
being, thirty-five years old, can fall in love with someone of the same gender and he cannot tell the word of five
letters 'cause the other being doesn't understand the language.
Sorry for the sexual attack, it wasn't my intention to discover your relationship and put your career in danger...
I just wanted to let it know 'cause it's fair for you (and for Bernd too) to release and finally reveal your
lovestory.
I watched the interview with Rainer Calmund. It's already uploaded on the net. Bernd's eyes were glowing during
the interview. I could see it even in HQ mode. Not like the Euro 2008 Spezial when he was so sad and injured. Now
he's happy and recovered...and it's all because of you. He was really right. I believe in him.
I'm going to tell you something that I hope you can feel relieved with your self-confidence and the thing he made to
you...Bruno Labbadia is a motherfucker or as you say (and Simon taught me) 'un conche de su madre'. And I've learnt that when I saw Bruno punching Sascha... soon I'll make the apologies to the team, and specially you.I hope you can believe me. If you didn't understood this, please, copy and paste and translate it into your language
or forward it in private to Gonzo...But I know you can read German for your own. Now I understand why Bernd fell in love with you.
And with this I'm closing this mail.
Euer,
René Adler"
Arturo cried. He understood all.Bruno Labbadia was going to rip off Arturo's career. René was going to break the Silence Wows just for letting know
to the world the bilateral relationship.
The words were for real. Then, at last he could watch Rainer Calmund's interview with Bernd. He made it in full screen and in High Quality Mode.
When the final part came (the interview was in total of 5:30, from the opening till the end), when Bernd spoke in
Spanish, he sobs.
He cried, of happiness...but at the time of sadness, 'cause he wants to let know to his homeland he loves Bernd
Schneider, but he knows he must hide it for having presence at the National Team and keep a place in case of being
called to Southafrica.
He wants to leave a legacy. Not of sadness like Justin Fashanu, he wants to be brave... but that step is coming
closer than he thinks.National Stadium (In Spanish Estadio Nacional) was full in capacity. Many watchers (in Spanish 'veedores') were there expecting an awesome performance for the Transfer Book.Including Rudi Völler.
Rudi doesn't know about Bernd's secret trip to Santiago de Chile.Bernd gets disguised. He shows a Chilean flag while the crowd is cheering the official bus outside Juan Pinto Durán.
Arturo draws a heart at the window. Bernd knows he's there... then he leaves the crowd and takes a
caterpillar-bus from Transantiago to Estadio Nacional.
He gets infiltrated with them. He doesn't want to get discovered. But then to a Chilean policeman (well known
as Carabinero) tells he's Bernd Schneider in Spanish... soon a VIP card is sent to him.
He changes outfit. In his backpack there's some jeans, sneakers and the Chilean soccer jersey with the number 14
and Arturo's last name printed at the back.
Then he runs with the credential while the crowd is sitting down.
The night comes.
National Anthems are performed. Bernd stands up, in respect signal...
Then the match begins... the last steps...
He wants Vidal inside the World Cup. Chile is hoping to have the tickets...But at the same time, Bernd doesn't want to be discovered. He's stressful, nervous; like never before.
Finally Mati Fernández, the same boy who put the ball under his jersey claiming his proud fatherhood, was running
with the ball alone.
He stays with mind in blank, amazed...
"Ja!"
"¡GOOOOOL!"
Then, after the celebration, nervous again... many balls outside of the net... corners and corners... it was like
an EM Quali game... of European or global proportions.
Gary Medel saved the day once more.
Bravo throws out the ball very Adleresque, going out of his own net.
Suddenly, Arturo runs trying to steal it from the rival's feet. The referee books the rival.
But he doesn't go out of the pitch.
A mistake from the defense makes the tie.
The dream was becoming a nightmare, for Arturo, his teammates, and his whole country.
But then, something happens with Arturo. He loses his focus. Marcelo Bielsa is shouting him.
Arturo knows. He's there. Arturo can feel him... he feels with a sort of relief... resurrection is near.
His heart beats of activity and more of love.
Then he leaves all his partners behind.
"He'll make a Ballack... He'll make a Ballack!"
Shot...
"Ja!"
"GOOOOOOOOOL!"
2 x 1
It's time to shall the efforts to keep the score up.
Goalies making his work...
But then, one minute more left.
Suddenly, the rival is alone... nobody could stop him, but then just a finger from Chilean goalie was enough to
say: 'Wake up!'
Whistle.
Chile was happy, glad...
Marcelo was hugging all the players. Arturo was there on the pitch, alone.
Bernd was going to see him, but he was far away on the crowd.
But Matías said to Arturo something. Fernández could notice Schnix's presence at the Stadium. Lack of people was
the cause to evidence the Thuringian's presence.
"Arturo!" Bernd shouts loud. "Arturo!"
Matías was glad to hear Bernd's voice. He only knows him by ear and sight.Arturo runs through the pitch till the VIP.
"Arturo!"
"Bernd!"
"No sé por qué...yo sabía que iba a estar aquí..." Matías said in Spanish.
Bernie and Arturo were making out... Matías' jaw fell down of the impact.
Then he goes to the changing room.
"Komm her. Folge mir." (Come here.Follow me) Arturo said in German.
Taken by the hand, Arturo left Bernie at the changing-room door.
Long celebration.
For a long while... and he wasn't there. It was just really unfair. He invited Arturo to the German locker-room...
Why Arturo couldn't do that with Schnix?
Yes...
He was in secret. Bielsa mustn't know about the trip... but he's relieved 'cause Bielsa never talked ever to Joachim
Löw in his whole life...
But he entered, no matter what they were going to say.
"¿Y quién es este compadre con cara de alemán?"
"¡Pero si es Bernd Schneider!" Matías Fernández said. "¡Este alemán colao...es colega del Arturo!"
'Colega del Arturo'
He musn't reveal what really happens between them. He's more than just his colleague.
"¡Viva Chile!" Bernie shouts loud.
"¡Viva Chile mierda!"
Champagne shot and pouring everywhere. Schnix's hair was sticky, wet and full of alcohol.
Marcelo Bielsa has the intuition. He can smell what's happening between Bernd and Arturo. But he lets them go.
The aftermath.
Bernd escapes of the changing room while they celebrate.
At Plaza Italia the crowd celebrates. He gets infiltrated, but then he hides to a very dark place.
He could view Arturo...
The Chilean pushes the German against the wall.
"La de la victoria, guachito..." Vidal whispers while getting down Bernie's zipper.
His hand had the power to make Bernd feel good in Santiago de Chile. There wasn't nothing when Germany
classified. Arturo's hand were like silk... Bernd boils, his blood is becoming burning and melting lava.
"Tu me avisa'i...dime 'ya'...oka?"
Bernd couldn't answer anything, despite of the arousal he was experiencing out there, on the street, in the middle
of darkness.
Dying of fever.
"Ja"
The sound 'ja' gets confused with 'ya' in Spanish. But Arturo assumed he said 'yes'... so his mouth proceeds.
Focused just in sucking, the German moves just a little for feel better.
Bernd's receptive. Arturo's hairstyle gets messed up once more with Schnix's hands.
"¡Oh Vidal!"
Arturo didn't spoke a word in the entire while. He was only worried to make Bernd feel fulfilled of pleasure.
He was going to say 'suck it' in Spanish which is 'Chúpamelo', but he couldn't resist anymore.
He's achieving climax, while the crowd celebrates Chile's entrance to a World Cup after two failed attempts
(Korea-Japan, Germany).
Bernd moans. The victory is so true as the pleasure he's feeling. Now he can say it's a victory.
Then Arturo gets some cum inside his own mouth and spits on the floor with saliva.
Now, hands are ruling the scene.
Blowjob makes the German moan more...
Cum spreading around the street. And the best thing...nobody could notice it.
"Halt mich fest" (Hug me) Schnix says in German to Arturo.
Arturo obeys the order.
While hugging, he began to make some smooching. Bernie made the perfect and smooth move to gets his pants up
and finally relax.
Taken by the arm and not by the hand, they just saw the caterpillar-bus door exit open, to enter.
Arturo knows that the bus lead them to San Joaquín, the place once lived and played.
Then they see a person trying to hang up.
He recognizes him.
"¡Papá!"
Yes.
Bernd sees death near. He's witness of Herr Erasmo's death. His second suicide attempt.
Everyone was celebrating Arturo's deed...less Herr Erasmo. He felt alone, sad.
Rudi Völler, who arrived there as a surprise guest to San Joaquín, notices the tragedy. He doesn't know how to
dial 133 (number of emergency from Carabineros de Chile), and Arturo was hidden with Bernd watching.
"Hey! Hey!" Rudi said.
"¿Ah?" a drunk Arturo's father replies.
"Kommen Sie da runter" (Get down of there)
"Pero si ahora va" Vidal Sr. says "Ahora va"
"Kommen Sie runter da!!" (Get down!)
Vidal knows that Herr Völler is out there trying to help, but his making it in GERMAN.
"¡Papá, dice él que te bajes!"
But he jumps.
"Nein!! Tun Sie etwas, tun sie was...Herr Völler, ¡Haga algo! ¡Haga algo!"
Völler, with his formal suit, gets up to the roof of Arturo's house.
But the rope is too tight with Erasmo's neck.
He's concreting it.
With a messed Spanish he said:
"¡Un cuchillo! ¡Un cuchillo! ¡Un cuchillo!"
A person throws something to the roof. It was a knife, well known in Spanish as 'cortaplumas'.
Its blade was so powerful, that Rudi almost cuts himself.
But Herr Erasmo falls down, unconscious.
Bernd was still there, sneak-peeking the entire scene.
"Hallo, Arturo, well, no time for greetings."
"Nein, Herr..."
"Gibt es hier in der Nähe ein Krankenhaus???" (Is there any hospital near here???)
"Ja...ähm... Posta Central..."
"Posta Central? Was ist das?"
"Ein medizinisches Zentrum für Notfälle."
Rudi leads the keys to Arturo.
"Nein...Ich kann nicht..."
"Just do it!"
"Ok.Ja klar"
The driver sat next to Arturo.
Rudi Völler lays down Vidal Sr. in the backseat.
"¿Usted me escucha?" Rudi says.
He takes pulse.
"He has pulse, Arturo, but he's unconscious."
"Ok."
They arrived to Posta Central.
"¡Otra vez él!" the paramedic says. "¡Ah, ya es demasiado!"
She made commands voice for bringing a medical litter. The others obey the command.
"¿El quién es?" the nurse asks.
"Él es Rudi Völler, señorita. No habla muy bien español, pero él lo trajo para acá."
"¿Me puede decir qué le pasó?"
"Bueno, mi español bueno no es, pero, el hombre ähm, intenta colgarse. Con un,ähm, messer, corté la cuerda
y ähm...cayó"
Then the nurse explains that Herr Erasmo must been taken to the hospital for observation and heal his wounds.
At waiting room...
"Danke für alles."
"Gern geschehen, Junge. Mein Spanisch war nicht wirklich gut, aber zumindest konnte ich ihr erklären, was passiert
ist.“ (You're welcome, son. My Spanish wasn't good after all, but at least I could explain to her what happened.)
"Ja, das ist das Wichtigste. Und Bernd hat mir beigebracht...“
(Yes. That's the most important thing. And Bernd taught me that...)
"Was hat Bernd dir beigebracht?" (What Bernd taught you?)
"Mich verständlich zu machen. Und das ist, was du gemacht hast. Danke.“ (To let myself understand. And that's what
you've made. Well done!)
Arturo left the place for a while.
Bernd saw Rudi at the ER.
He faded away. But then Rudi leaves the place and Bernd enters to take seat.
Arturo enters to the ER once more.
"¡Bernd!"
"I heard all at the news. Sorry about your father. But thanks to Herr Völler. If it wasn't for him."
"Probably he could concret the attempt. He made it once for Father's Day."
"Wie ist die Beziehung zu deinem Vater?" (How is your relationship with your father?)
"Gar nicht gut. Ein Onkel hat mich aufgezogen... weißt du, mein Vater war die meiste Zeit... betrunken.
Ich fühlte mich furchtbar als Bruno das zu mir sagte und mir die Alkoholprobleme meines Vaters so unter die Nase
gerieben hat.Even I told it to Stefan."
"Aber... wie---!?" (But...how---!?)
"Halt mich, Bernie!" (Hug me, Bernie!)
Arturo cries in Bernd's arms.
"Was?"
"Er ist trotzdem mein Vater, Schnix!" (But he's my father anyways, Schnix!)
While at the other side, Rudi was going to check out what happened with Herr Erasmo. Even he fought with the nurse
trying to get some information.
"¡Verlo yo quiero! ¡Verlo yo quiero!"
Völler pushes the nurse, aparting her from the bed.
Then he enters.
"Mi español no es bueno... pero espero que me enseñes tú...espero que vivo esté para que enseñarme usted pueda."
Then he kisses his handpalm and sends a kiss to Herr Vidal.
"Tanto usted a su hijo se parece."
Then to the nurse he says some 'Perdóname' and leaves the place.
Several hours later, the doctor tells to Rudi and Arturo that Vidal Sr. is ok, he hasn't neurological damage and he must make some A.A program to be clean.
About Bernd... he left the country few hours later Rudi came back to the ER.
He's at the airport and takes the first flight to Berlin.
Then he reads some blogs and finds something really weird, but a hopeful notice: Bruno Labbadia is out of the team.
And then, while waiting his flight, he writes.
"Dear Diary:
While I'm stuck here at the airport,
I was wondering myself about Arturo's father. Why he's the opposite thing to his own son?
I think he's drowning himself in alcohol for a frustrated dream... but maybe just Arturo's mother will know
the real reason why Herr Erasmo drinks.
I love the way how Arturo expressed about his father "Er ist trotzdem mein Vater, Schnix!" he said to me.
Probably for some reason Herr Rudi Völler was there. Destiny sometimes is really weird.
Rudi never has the behavior he had at Posta Central. I heard on the news that there are charges pressed against
Rudi Völler for harming a nurse of public health service. I understand he was worried about Herr Erasmo, but he took
the claws off like a fierce... maybe Herr Völler is the light Herr Vidal needs to get recovered.
He'll be in that program, I hope he can stand there the most part of the time, and never drink again.
I wish him the best of the lucks.
I'm wondering... maybe the reason the way Arturo feels... it's on his DNA...
Only time will tell..."
despite of all, the saga continues, daaaym!
