Summary: Sometimes love is a bridge for communication among two totally different nations.
In this part - Arturo comes back to Germany. The first step for the great day has come.

While Frau Pardo is making the best to improve her German pronounciation. Maybe he'll not speak like her son, but at least she can get
communicate and greet the people she knows.
The thing she doesn't know is that Arturo and Bernd will ask for an appointment in Jena's Civil Registry for the lifetime partnership ceremony.
Both woke up very early. Arturo was worried for the wrapped furniture and the boxes, but at the time he sighs because he already knows that
is part of the great plan traced by Bernd before February 27th.
Arturo made the settings to his GPS for setting course to Jena civil registering offices.
"Uh! Mama! Looks full..."
"Yup yup"
"But not so full as in Chile. Buff!!"
"Arturo, but you'll have the procedures ready...huh?"
"I've got to cancel 25 euros this week. They'll accept me probably..."
"But first you must make the citizenship test, Arturo..."
"I know, Bernd."
Their number was 025 and the screen displayed 014.
"Yeah!"
But then, the counter was ringing and get stuck in 024.
The blessed number came and they entered into an office.
"Hallo..."
"Hallo, wie geht's?"
Bernd hits him with his elbow.
"Hm... well..."
"May I help you?"
"Yes. We want an appointment for a lifetime partnership ceremony."
"What's your name?"
"My name is Arturo Vidal. I'm Chilean."
"Did you made the procedures to getting married?"
"Well...indeed the Botschaft told me that I must cancel 25 euros. I'll get soon my naturalization letter."
"So...you are making the procedures...huh? Well... if I would be another person, I'll probably say no. But, did you know that the lifetime
partnership shorts waiting time until one year?? If you would be just another immigrant more, you would wait eight..." the secretary said.
"Wow, so it's convenient to make it, even I don't have the papers yet..."
"Well...always if you state that you are not doing this for getting married with Bernd. Deep inside, is getting married, but here we talk
about lifetime partnership..."
"No, not for that. I only want to be respected the way I deserve. Many discriminated me for being Chilean. For having this skin color...for not speaking German, but now I'm speaking..."

Arturo shows his ID, so as Bernd.
"Ok..."
She checks the calendar on the computer and she says.
"Uhhhh!! We don't have any date until November 14th."
"November 14th? Is a good day... my birthday is 3 days later."
"Which time do you have?"
"Hmmm...let me see..."
Meanwhile, they kiss each other and displays some affection... until then, the woman said:
"Sorry, but the only time I've got for you is half past eight... in the morning..."
"¡Oh, conchetumadre...!"
"Doesn't matter. We can make a breakfast as reception party. It would be better..."
The secretary giggles.
"Ok... if it sounds good, ok."
"So? November 14th, 2010, half past eight in the morning. You must have four witnesses. One for the German person, and other for the immigrant..."
"Can I ask you a question?"
"Yes, sure..." she says.
"Is there a... possibility... so we can do the ceremony... outside?"
"Yes, sure, but it must be inside the city of Jena."
"Oh, ok. Can it be at the..hmm... 'Erntfenungen von Ausgewahlten Lebenstationen Napoleon zum Ort Cospeda bei Jena'?"
"Say what???" she said.
"The monument of distances from Jena to the different battles made by Napoleon" he whispered. "Arturo... be careful"
"Es tut mir wirklich leid, I learnt it from Wikipedia" Arturo said.
"Awww....!!! Yes, yes. Now I understand. But you must pay the costs of moving from here till the place you chose."
"And how much is the... booklet?" Arturo said.
"The booklet? Awww... it's free" the woman says "but the procedure indeed is 30 euros.It includes inside the price."
"Ok. So, November 14th, 8: 30 AM. Arturo Erasmo Vidal Pardo and Bernd Schneider...is that correct?"
"Yes."
"There you go"
She printed the order to them.
"Good luck"
"Thank you. Auf wiederhesen."
"Viel spaß!" the secretary said.
The secretary sighs. She was happy. An anonymous heroine which helped two souls to get joined in the name of the law at last.
Arturo was anxious to announce the date, but Bernd decided to wait forty eight hours to call the press conference...
