My boy called me two days ago at 4am to tell me that he was ok. I hadn't seen the news to know that 3 soldiers from his Company were killed that day, thank 'god'. He'll be home the last week of Aug. for leave, I can't frickin wait. Actually, I just can't wait for him to get the hell out of the Stan for good! No more war for the Thomas boy!!!!!!!!

I don't get to go to Panama now because of the stupid Hondurans! Instead I get a round trip ticket, all expenses paid, to one of my least favorite states, Texas. For the fail! Boooooo!

I'll be out of town or out of state for most of Aug. so try not to miss me too much!

Started watching July 3rd, have watched 82 episodes (approx 61.5 hours) in three weeks, would have watched more but nathan was a Tiger (ask him) and gone for four days and many of the Season 5 episodes are not on ABC, so you have to go watch some shit quality episode. I've made a terrible mistake.

I watch On Demand almost exclusively, and I made the mistake of watching the first episode of Lost on Hulu. At least I possess the knowledge that the name of the show is how I will feel for five seasons, but now that I've started watching, I have to finish. Only about 90 more episodes to go.

My son has had a terrible time connecting with me in the last week or two, but finally got me on the line last night around midnight thirty. Jer is at Camp Ramrod in Kandahar, Afghanistan. A blocking position where there has been much violence in the last year. Camp's less than a year built but well stocked.
