A little help, please?

I need some help from my LJ peeps. I desperately need to get my hair cut, I'd like it to look nice and not be a hack job, and money is tight. I have plenty to donate to Locks of Love, and would like to do so. 1. See about finding a school... maybe even CAT-N over in Severn. I believe they have a program there.

2. If you haven't committed yourself to LoL (in your own mind), talk to me first.

I'm not committed to anyone yet, and some of my friends have said that LoL may be questionable and that donating to Matter of Trust (to soak up oil spills) would be better. But I'm open to a lot of ideas. It was just the thought that my hair could actually serve a purpose instead of being thrown away after getting cut off that really appealed to me.

If you're good with oil cleanup, you can head into a Hair Cuttery and they'll take care of the shipping via Matter of Trust.
