Fog Soup and Night Route

So today we had our first trip into San Francisco!! We worked our dogs down Chestnut Street a few blocks and then hopped on Muny (bus) and got off a few stops. GDB doesn't have a lounge in SF, so we got to stay and wait in this beautiful Italian Caffe instead of the buses. I love night routes!! Talk about freeing. That's when I first really saw my girl do her stuff. I need to take a night walk around the neighborhood for the heck of it again one of these days...

That is really cool to think about. I just don't stop to think that walking at night isn't that big of a thing, but it's interesting to imagine doing so with "my eyes closed", so to speak. And, then being able to have a guide dog and being able to "see" enough to overcome that barrier. It must have been a great experience.
