it is a special torture to be starving, to have the food you want wafting its aromas in your mind, and not have the money to buy the materials.

Food Torture....

My friend used to work at P.F. Chang's in Denver, Colorado. He said that for at least one month, because of a very pressing debt that needed to be paid for in full, he had to live on mac and cheese, water and anything cheap. He said it was so hard for him to resist all those food he had to bring to the reaturant patrons It was *sheer* torture.

But he was thankful for the 'free food' the restaurant usually give out to their workers rather than throwing them out, such as rice, other goodies and soups, at closing time.
