good news, bad news

Jan 12, 2009 18:37

Went to the root-canal specialist on my dentist's referral, but the bad news is that tooth #14 is cracked and not repairable, it will have to be pulled. We'll see if my dentist wants to pull it or send me to an oral surgeon.

The good news is that I qualify, on my own assets, to get a mortgage up to at least $125K.

Now I get to shop for houses for

teeth, house, mortgage, health

Congrats on the mortgage!!! Get the house on your own. That way, 'you are beholden to no one'

Getting a tooth pulled is easier than a root canal and lots cheaper.

yeah, that's what they say, but chewing without it will be challenging.

Sorry about your tooth--I am ecstatic, though, that you are insured and will be okay.

The mortgage news is exquisite! Congratulations. Savor this time--enjoy, enjoy, enjoy. Examine all possibilities.

And, yes, I do agree with one of your readers: It is very likely that you will be house-poor until early 2010, when you submit your taxes and get an enormous refund.

Happens to all of us. High-class problem to have.

I can't overestimate your contribution to this process.

I did not do anything.

But I am really, really excited for you!
