I had bad luck with shanks. I think I cooked them too quickly. Love the confetti potatoes idea!

Then I found out that they drive out from Portland every week at least once to eat here. It's her second favorite restaurant after Lemongrass, this Thai place.

The shanks sound wonderful. You certainly can be proud of what you do. More and more I wish we'd have met when you were in SF. I see your creativity is blue ribbon, first class and wonderful. The road house will become a great dining experience under your hand. I hope that the financial compensation keeps up with your work. I have noticed, however, that you don't seem to talk much about dessert....
