I'm in love with the creativity of the project. I never would have thought to put that second design in the floor. I absolutely LOVE it! So props to whichever of you two thought of that :D :D

That design was mine. The current projects design was more Chip's with my help in choosing colours and some help with implementation. We make a good creative team.

Wow lovely - it makes me rethink the idea of putting down 2'x 2' squares of stained birch plywood for the flooring of the living/dining room.

Depends on the payment. Lol.

Never done it, but my BIL and I say that most people of reasonable intelligence can do most things reasonably well. Based on that, with proper instructions and equipment, I'm thinking I could manage it. After doing a few, I'd probably be fairly good at it. That's how I got so darn good at hanging ceiling fans between the 4 or so at our first house and the, *counts*, 8 in this one.

Hrm. That was probably a longer answer than you really wanted. :)
