Ok I really don't know why the photo studio really wants me to shoot in JPEG.  The wedding I shot on Sunday for my uncle's friend I shot most of the photos in RAW.  I took horribly underexposed shots and made them look like normally exposed shots. In some cases so far, it has saved my ass. :)
