I had hoped to make it to IBR this year . . . that is until I looked at the dates. IBR falls right smack dab in the middle of Sivaratri (2/16). It's the ONE Hindu festival that I attend without fail (even when I had severe bronchitis). It's always nice to run across someone who knows the lingo. I'm quite fond of abishekams (bathing rituals) and homams/yagyas (fire ceremonies). Always interesting to watch.

The challenge, of course, is sitting for hours without having your legs fall asleep. Yeah, right!
