Today's linkspam comes from the world of nature.

This first one shows a collection of beautiful responses to threat. The first response is Get Really Big.  The next one is Mimic a Predator.  And the birds involved are quite beautiful.  Sorry I can't translate as I can only read the English.

Aw! Octopus says "buh-bye!". I can't eat them, either.

I'm not sure the second owl poise is "mimic a predator", though. After all, the smaller owl is a predator, so no mimicking is necessary. It reminds me of the parakeets when something alarms them; they get all tall and flat feathered and skinny, which I assumed is a posture that would make one harder to see, sitting in a tree. Seems like it would work even better if you are tree-colored, rather than parrot-bright.
