...I can't believe I just did this.

Really? Are there any studios or anything in the UK that you're interested in? If not, there's a bunch of places here you could try: Turner, Fathom Studios... Lots of them will be needing 2D and 3D artists in the future, and they have a tendency of snagging students fresh out of college.
