This might sound kinda odd, but have you tried anything along the lines of dating? (Honestly, I don't know if you have or not) College is pretty much the best opportunity you're going to get, and it will definitely help you alleviate some boredom. Just my suggestion.

People actually read my rants? Weird, yeah that was just a bad bout of Uberboredem not sure what caused it. As for my dating I have terrible luck with that the second I get close to asking a girl out they pull a "I'm gonna go do something dumb" such as start dating some jackass I hate so I'm like well great... yeah that and no one I've met here I've had any attraction to at all sometimes they get close but then they start talking and I'm like wow uninformed retard who likes to rant about Bush but has no actual facts behind it... Granted if it were anything politics related I would possibly hate it. So yeah as nice as it would be nice to date but unfortunately they just don't hop into your lap. Weird I actually used punctuation somewhat...

Oh yeah... I forgot to mention that the friends I have here never call me and tell me they're doing anything unless they're already drunk and wanna harass someone. I guess it helps to know I'm the first on their drunk dialing list but it'd be nice if they would ask to hang out every once in a while. Maybe I should learn to reverse my laziness and acually call them and force them to hang out with me... Nah thats too much work for me they can change
