Yes, I know it was you who told Nuala where to buy them. No, Nuala still hasn't told me that location. I have identified the language in the wrappers as Italian, but Nuala put them in a plain sackcloth bag embroidered with a fairy that she made for me herself. Nuala, BTW, is wonderful, but freely admits to everybody that she fails at embroidery. The Fairy looks like one of those ElfQuest sprites of yours, the ones that go Nastybad Bigthing on facebook.

The Major and his Sergeant? The Sergeant and her Major? The Grand Epic of Awkwarkdness? Army Love Story? The Ghosts of Borogravia Saga? The Chocolate Adventures? How To Avoid Committing The Serious Kind of Abominations While Trying To Win A War? Meltykiss (that's a Japanese chocolate brand. Leanan Maladict Peredhil brought me some of those from Arizona!)? Abomination and Abstinence? Borogravian Chocolate? The Story With Hardly Any Maladict In It? Lilith Queen's Blouse Love Story? I could go on and on with these... In order:

1) I'm really glad you love my OCs! It's hard to give them just enough personality to be "there" without overshadowing our Awkward Lovers :) Liz is definitely my favorite. And Josef has a crush on Mal :)

2) Mal's coffee converts even vampire-haters! Nobody can resist it.

3) Mal on burial duty I imagine is a lot like Mal fighting--trying very hard not to think about the blood under her fingernails. And that scene will most surely be added soon!

4) BLOUSE. He gives orders on autopilot--even when he's in shock, he manages to get things done. And he'd never be able to say those words to a conscious Polly...or would he? :)

5) The battle scene was haaard. Especially Blouse's part--I was trying to convey both the everything-slowing-down feel of seeing Polly fall and the lightning-fast impression of Blouse going *ping!* with rage.

5) Battle scenes are always hard. It seems most MR fanfic writers choose to write romance, not combat - which is strange, because there's less romance in the book than in most Discworld books. Or maybe that is the reason fans wish to add more of it!

1) I like Josef/Mal, and I haven't even read most of the fics yet.

2) My coffee is epic, but Heterodyne coffee when served by Zeuxippe Agatha Leanan Polly Perks Peredhil may eventually succeed in converting me into a Girl Genius fan. That and a certain fanfic I came here looking for...

3) Mal's fingernails would be either slightly too long to be practical, with unspecified dirt under them (mostly smelling of coffee grounds) or rather short as if chewed frequently, and perfectly manicured, but no nail polish of any color or shine.

4) Blouse is Blouse is Blouse is Blouse, and Blouse by any other name would smell just as awkward! *salutes him*

5) I love writing battle scenes. I've served in the Finnish Army. I'm a real-life crossdressing Corporal. Don't hesitate to ask me for help, but be patient - I have no internet at home, and am only here now because all afternoon lectures were cancelled.
